Two separate books — buy-now and a 3-minute auction. The mispricing lives in the auction.

How trading works here

What actually happens when you buy or sell

Which book an item lands in is decided by its markup: listed at +6% or less over their recommended price it goes to a 3-minute auction, above that it skips straight to buy-now. So the auction book is structurally the cheap half.

Steam 7-day trade hold applies to withdrawn items.

Balance is site coins; cashing out goes through Empire's own rails.

What it is built for

  • Items listed at or near their recommended price go through a 3-minute auction, and most expire with no bids at all
  • Genuinely different price mechanic from every other market we track

Things to know

  • An auction price is a winning bid, not a settled ask — you are exposed for up to three minutes and can be outbid
  • Prices are in site coins, not dollars, and the peg is applied when we ingest them
  • We hold no verified seller fee, so figures here are gross
  • We currently read only the buy-now book; the two books do not overlap

How to trade on CSGOEmpire

What you actually have to do, step by step. Every step links to the page it was checked against.

CSGOEmpire is a gambling site with a peer-to-peer skin marketplace bolted on, and the vocabulary is inverted from what you expect: "deposit" means listing your skin for sale, "withdraw" means buying someone else's. There are no site bots — you trade directly with another human on Steam, so every sale depends on the counterparty actually sending, and seller payouts sit in "pending payouts" until Steam's trade-protection window expires. Your balance is denominated in Empire Coins; skins can be pulled out any time without wagering, but converting to crypto brings in wagering rules and a KYC check.
