How trading works here
What actually happens when you buy or sell
Like Buff163, it runs a two-sided book: sellers post asks, buyers post bids, and you can take either side. Hitting a bid is instant but pays less than waiting for your ask to fill.
Standard Steam 7-day trade hold applies to CS2 items.
CNY balance; withdrawal requires a Chinese payment method. Filling a buy order needs a Chinese YouPin account — treat the bid side as a demand reference unless you can actually deliver.
What it is built for
- One of only two markets we track that publishes standing buy orders, so you can sell instantly into a bid
- Large catalogue and among the biggest snapshot sets we hold
Things to know
- Chinese payment rails only, which is the practical barrier for most Western traders
- Its buy-order pages are behind a WAF that blocks us by IP, so our bid data is harder to keep current than our ask data
- No Trustpilot presence at all, so there is no Western review signal to weigh
How to trade on YouPin
What you actually have to do, step by step. Every step links to the page it was checked against.
YouPin898 is a Chinese-market CS2 trading and rental platform run by Shanghai Rongsheng Information Technology, and everything about it is built around mainland Chinese identity and payment rails: you register a platform account, verify with a real name and ID card (with Alipay face recognition as the verification method), and pay and get paid through bank card, Alipay or the on-site wallet in yuan. Items still move as ordinary Steam trade offers, so both sides work to hard clocks — the seller has 12 hours to send after accepting a counter-offer, the buyer has 24 hours to accept — and Valve's 7-day trade protection window sits on top of delivery. All of the documentation is in Chinese, and the platform reserves broad rights to freeze funds, downgrade account permissions and reverse completed trades when it judges a trade abnormal.
